Bindicator,  Spartanburg, SC, a Venture Measurement company, has introduced the SONO-1000 single tank ultrasonic level indicator. Capable of measuring bulk solids in vessels up to 30m high, it is especially suitable for locations with a limited number of vessels, where a separate controller may be cost prohibitive; both AC and DC versions are available. The unit is simple to install and start up regardless of the amount of material in the vessel and is applicable to a wide range of products. Up to four process connections, two ½in NPT and two M20 x 1.5, allow for flexibility when connecting to a power source.
