Dinnissen, Sevenum, the Netherlands, has introduced an absolutely dustproof version of its Pegasus® mixer. All of the company’s mixers are already fitted with dust-tight discharge valves. However, the Ultra Dust-Free Pegasus is also fitted with special sensors which guarantee that the valves are always 100% dust-tight. The valves are fitted with a special labyrinth seal developed in house by Dinnissen. The sensors monitor whether any material leaks through the valves and, in the event of the tiniest leakage, they prevent the mixing process from starting. This latest model therefore provides an extra guarantee that ingredients will not contaminate other components of the production process.
The new dustproof Pegasus will be unveiled by Dinnissen (Hall 23, Stand D15) at EuroTier 2012, the world’s foremost animal production exhibition which takes place 13-16 November in Hanover.
