Extraction screw conveyors for compost fermentation
tanks This month Van Beek of Drunen, the Netherlands, is again supplying extraction screw conveyors to Organic Waste Systems (OWS) of Ghent, Belgium, for removing fermentation waste from a DRANCO (DRy ANaerobic COmposting) fermentation tank. This latest installation will be in Leszno, Poland. The tubular conveyors, arranged in cascade formation, are able to provide a capacity of 40-100m³/h, depending on the size of the tank. Designed = with heavy-duty gaskets and flanges, they are of stainless steel construction = and can withstand pressures of 3-5 bar. Similar DRANCO installations have recently been successfully commissioned by OWS in Spain, Germany, France, Italy and Belgium. www.van-beek.nl
