Aero-mechanical conveyors perform well for
world’s largest tin oxide producer UK-based Keeling & Walker, the world’s for= emost manufacturer of tin oxide, installed an aero-mechanical conveyor supplied= by Spiroflow at its Stoke-on-Trent plant in early 2007. This replaced a buck= et elevator which was prone to spillage and costly maintenance on account of= the highly abrasive material. Since then the company has installed three more aero-mechanical units from the same manufacturer, one in February 2008 and two further machines in September of that year. The original conveyor is = 3m long and operates vertically, while the other three are 5m long and opera= te at about 50 degrees to the horizontal. All four machines are required to = work continuously. Aero-mechanical conveyors can function at any angle from horizontal to vertical without fluctuation in performance. www.spiroflow.com
