Enhanced load cell versatility

Darmstadt-based Schenck Process reports that its new series of low-cost VDW load cells (see Webnews for week of 23 June) now offers even more alternatives for the latest generation of DFT truck scales. For many years the company’s truck scales have incorporated the reliable ring torsion RTN load cell which features an elastomer mount. This is no longer required with the new VDW series, resulting in much simpler mount elements. www.schenck-process.net
