De-dusting resins at point of silo discharge

Lancaster, PA, has introduced the mobile XP-DeDuster=
which can be moved directly beneath overhead silo discharge hoppers to re=
move
dust and angel hair from plastic resins, prior to loading or packaging.
Residual dust content after cleaning
has been shown to be consistently less than 30 ppm. In June a 36t/h capac=
ity
unit was installed at RP Compounds, Schkopau, Germany,
for loading plastic pellets into silo tankers. It is available in Europe through German agent =
MoMaTech.
