Hose systems meet latest food regulations Norres Schlauchtechnik of Gelsenkirchen, Germany, has already implemented the latest amending directive 2007/19/EC to EU Direct= ive 2002/72/EC. With effect from May 2009, plastic materials and articles that might come into contact with foodstuffs must be produced in all member st= ates with virtually no phthalate softeners. A number of recent studies have demonstrated that these have a tendency to migrate into food products, wi= th possible health risks. All hoses and hose assemblies produced by Norres h= ave been officially approved by an independent test laboratory to comply with= the requirements of the new amending directive. www.norres.com
