Pulveriser with vertical rotor shaft

Herbold Meckesheim, Germany, has introduced a new pulveriser which for the first time features a vertical rotor shaft. Compared with conventional machines the load on the bearings is said to be significantly reduced. A patented new design of the grinding discs is claimed to have a positive influence on the dwell time as well as the final granule size. Consequently, screening of oversize material is rarely necessary.
