Measuring falling speed of low-density powder

Haver & Boecker of Oelde, Germany, is now making its trickle tester available to customers. By means of this instrument it is possible to measure accurately the free-fall characteristics of loose granular products by observing trickle behaviour through a hopper under controlled conditions. Test results can help determine optimum machine configuration for packing lines.
