Enclosed drag conveyor transfers hydrated lime

A Hapman tubular drag conveyor has been installed at the Mozyr oil refinery in Belarus for handling hydrated lime. The order for the US-designed conveyor was won by Hapman’s UK-based business partner Braby which had originally been approached by the refinery to supply a skid-mounted silo system. The conveyor is required to work at very low temperatures and to meet stringent vapour barrier requirements. www.hapman.com
