Heat exchanger in fertiliser application
The BULK-X-CHANGE heat exchanger
developed by Coperion Waeschle
of Weingarten, Germany, is for the very first
time being employed by a fertiliser manufacturer for use with an inorganic
product. The device serves to cool the fertiliser following the crystallising
and drying stages. Its purpose is to prevent the formation of lumps during
silo storage and thereby improve product storability and handling. www.coperion.com
