Computing optimum packing pattern for bag palletiser

Beumer Maschinenfabrik of Beckum, Germany, has just introduced a packing pattern assistance device which helps operators of its paletpac® bag palletiser. When bags containing a different type of product are being palletised, the device independently calculates the appropriate packing pattern on the basis of full bag dimensions and the height of the layers.
