Radiometric measurement systems achieve unprecedent=
ed
level of accuracy Berthold Technologies based in Bad Wildbad, Germany,= which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary has launched a new generation of detectors designated the SENSeries. Characterised by extrem= ely high sensitivity to gamma radiation, the new SENS-Detectors are said to a= chieve previously unattainable levels of accuracy whether for radiometric detect= ion of density, concentration or level. Depending on the application, the sou= rce activity can be reduced by up to 80%, allowing the lifespan of existing sources to be extended by many years or even decades. Systems are availab= le in all current explosion protection classes. They will be exhibited at ne= xt month’s Achema. www.bertho= ldtech.com
