Optimised balancing of tumbler screeners

Allgaier Process Technology, Germany, has recently introduced MultiBalance, an electronic balancing system for tumbler screeners which reduces residual forces – both tangential as well as radial – transferred to the surrounding steel structure or concrete foundation. This can prevent undesired and damaging resonance effects. All the company’s machines having screen diameters of more than 2m are now being fitted with the new system.
