10.03.2014 Latest versions of stretch-hooder and palletizer

Beumer, Beckum, Germany, will unveil a new machine from its stretch-hood product range at interpack in May (Hall 12, Stand D36). The company has redesigned its high-performance packaging system from the bottom up. As part of this exercise, its engineers have analysed different components and optimised them for functionality, arrangement and ergonomics. Innovations include improved menu guidance for the control of the machine via a soft touch panel, better access to the service unit, and a double-guided belt which feeds the film into the system while ensuring gentle handling.

Beumer has also completely revamped its paletpac high-performance layer palletizer, giving it the capability to stack paper, PE and PP bags on different sized pallets flexibly, accurately and stably, and now even more efficiently. Users benefit from improved accessibility, shorter installation time, greater flexibility and consequently, above all, lower costs. Depending on the product requirements, the paletpac (also to be shown at interpack) can be fitted with a rotary clamp or double belt turning device which enables bagged products with special flow behaviour to be stacked on pallets particularly gently, quickly and accurately. This arrangement can easily be retrofitted to existing palletizers. www.beumergroup.com
