03.02.2014 Goudsmit is first magnetic separator supplier to become EHEDG member

Goudsmit Magnetic Systems, Waalre, the Netherlands, has recently joined the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) and is the first supplier of magnetic separation equipment to do so. Comprising a consortium of equipment manufacturers, food producers and research institutes as well as public health authorities, it was founded to promote hygiene during the processing and packaging of food products. 

Goudsmit plans to introduce a new series of magnetic systems on the market which will fulfil all the EHEDG standards. At next week’s CFIA trade fair in Rennes, north-west France, the company will introduce a recently developed fast-cleaning clean flow magnet that reaches a magnetic field of 10,700 Gauss. The casing is made of 304 stainless steel and the entire unit has a an exceptionally smooth finish which complies with HACCP/ EHEDG requirements.
