06.01.2020 Re-alignment of RKW Group’s executive board

RKW, Frankenthal, Germany, has made three key senior management changes.

 

  • Reinhold Franke is leaving the executive board for personal reasons. With effect from 1 February he becomes vice president sales and business development North America.
  • Roger Chantillon has been appointed the new board member responsible for sales and  marketing. He was previously vice president global sales at Avery Dennison.
  • Dr Alexander Wansel becomes board member for operations, responsible for all RKW production sites around the world with effect from beginning of January. He joins the company from the medium-sized TWE Group where he had organisational responsibility for 12 nonwovens plant in Europe, Asia and North America.

 

“We are pleased to have succeeded in appointing two highly qualified experts to RKW’s executive board in such a short time,” said Dr Rudolf Wehrli, chairman of the supervisory board at RKW. The Group, which was founded in 1957, is the market leader in areas of hygiene and agricultural films, films for the beverage industry and for packaging of powders. In addition it makes films and nonwovens for medical applications, for the chemical and converting industries as well as for the construction sector.
