On August 3rd Bunting Magnetics Co. – the US parent of Bunting Magnetics Europe (see above) – will commemorate its 60th anniversary. Founded in 1959 by Walter F Bunting in Chicago, IL, the company has remained family-owned and family-operated. Walter’s son, Bob Bunting, serves as the current president of the company, and Bob’s son, Robert Bunting Jr, serves as the general manager of the magnet materials division.

Currently, Bunting Magnetics Co. is headquartered in Newton, KS with manufacturing and distribution facilities in Berkhamsted, UK; DuBois, PA; Elk Grove Village, IL; Newton, KS; and Redditch, UK. This strong presence both at home and abroad has allowed the company to reach a wide range of customers and gain a reputation as a global magnetic force.

All of Bunting’s products are custom-designed by its in-house engineering team.
