Scaime, Annemasse, France, has introduced the eNod4-B, a weighing controller dedicated to continuous weighing and dosing appications. It offers advanced weighing functions  and connectivity to most of the main PLCs on the market. Based on a modular and scalable concept, it can be used as a stand-alone weighing system or be integrated into the most complex automated systems. eNod4-B is able to manage belt scales or belt weigh feeders. It includes a load cells input and encoder input for the belt speed calculation. With these data it calculates the flow rate, totals the amount of material passing over the belt and manages a dosing cycle. It also integrates a self-tuning PID controller providing a very accurate flow rate control.

 

Scaime’s eNod4 range is now able to handle the application of weight level monitoring (Model T), checkweighing and grading (Model C), gravimetic filling (Model D), belt weighing (Model B), or continuous dosing (Model F). www.scaime.com
