New CEO at Robson
Geo Robson & Co., Sheffield, UK, has named Jeff Hudson as chief executive officer, bringing to four the new senior appointments at the family owned company which include Bill Speirs (chairman), Julian Bestwick (finance director) and Abby Young (company secretary). Hudson was previously European director with Clyde Bergemann Power Group and latterly president EMEA and global strategy for CECO Environmental Corporation (a NASDAQ quoted company).
With over 100 years of materials handling heritage, Robson employs over 70 staff and operates from its 8200m² Coleford Road manufacturing site. In recent years it has achieved international success notably in biomass and sugar industries as well as with airport handling systems. In the first half of 2016 it secured orders totalling £11 million. www.robson.co.uk
