AZO, Osterburken, Germany, has introduced latest versions of the AZODOS® family of dosing units for precise feeding of powdered products. These have been completely overhauled and redeveloped. The series has been expanded with several other sizes and models. Particular attention has been given to ease of cleaning and simple handling of equipment. If the basic machine is expanded with a platform load cell or a three-point weighing frame (pictured), this forms an AZODOS Type P…DW dosing system that can be used as loss-in-weight scales. The system operates in volumetric mode. The powdered bulk products flow out of the supply hopper into the dosing screw. An agitator is used to ensure uniform discharge.
