GKM Siebtechnik, Waibstadt, Germany, will feature its newly developed Vibrating-Control-Screener KTS-VS 2 on Stand 4A-331 at POWTECH along with various other innovative screening machines. It has been specially adapted to the needs of the milk powder industry. Requirements in this respect were easy handling and a very high level of hygiene. The machine is easy to handle thanks to its modular design and it has been designed to meet the highest hygienic standards in the food sector. Optionally available is the new ViwateQ® treatment, which represents an entirely new approach to surface treatment whereby the oxide film and all unwanted contaminants are removed. ViwateQ treatment can be applied to products such as milk powder, cocoa powder, maltrodextrin, rice starch and sugar.

 

The centrally located product infeed and outlet help ensure very high performance. This screening machine is fabricated from stainless steel, which if required can also include the housing of the vibrating motors. Product contact surfaces are highly polished (Ra <0.8µm).
